Let’s get to it!

🚀 Taking Flight

🥾 Spacewalk Trail 3.0 Set to Reopen on Monte Sano

A beloved hiking route on Monte Sano is now back to its former glory, as the Spacewalk Trail 3.0 is set to officially reopen on April 3.

The Land Trust of North Alabama will host a ceremonial stick-cutting at the South Monte Sano Trailhead to celebrate the completion of the 16.5-mile loop. Originally created in the 1960s, the trail had become disconnected over time, but this updated version reconnects key segments with newly established paths.

The project, led in part by local Eagle Scouts, is just the latest in a long list of projects that make the Rocket City a truly special place to live!

🇺🇸 Huntsville Launches Website for America 250 Celebration

As the nation prepares to mark a historic milestone, Huntsville is inviting you to take part in a yearlong celebration of America’s 250th birthday!

Local leaders just launched a new website designed to serve as the central hub for events, updates, and ways you can get involved leading up to the 250th! It’s also the perfect resource if you want to become a vendor or a volunteer for any of the events.

Organizers say the goal is to create a tool that can bring us all together as we look back on more than two centuries of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dutch Bros Coffee Expanding to South Huntsville

Dutch Bros Coffee is planning a new location in South Huntsville along the Parkway, near Mountain Gap Road.

The popular chain offers a wide range of drinks, from classic iced lattes and cold brews to blended treats and energy drinks. You’ll also find teas, lemonades, and specialty creations with dozens of flavor options to mix and match.

We don’t have an opening date yet, but we will keep you posted. You can find the other Huntsville locations here.
