Another week is officially in the books! It’s hard to believe that summer break is almost over and that school is starting back soon!

It’s no secret that the Huntsville music scene has been growing over the last few years. And in August, it looks like we will reap the benefits of this growth!
Here’s a quick overview of some of the concerts coming to Huntsville next month:

Phew! That’s a lot of shows! And of course, there is also tons of free live music from local artists throughout the week.

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken Is Coming to Huntsville
It’s finally happening…Huntsville is getting its first Hattie B’s Chicken at the new Stadium Commons development in front of Wicks Family Field! The Stadium Commons development is just getting started, so it probably won’t be open for a while.
There’s A New Fishing Pier at Hay’s Nature Preserve
A new fishing pier is now open to the community at Hay’s Nature Preserve. The pier is specially designed to ensure accessibility for all levels of fishing. The Gordon William Legacy Fund donated $85,000 for its construction!
This Weekend is Tax-Free Weekend in Huntsville
Tax-free weekend is this Friday through Sunday in Huntsville. You’ll be able to shop tax-free all weekend long on clothing, school supplies, computers, tech, books, and more!

Earlier this week, we interviewed Michelle Novosel, the co-owner of Pizzelle’s Confections. The store is located at Campus 805 and was recently named the best chocolate shop in the US by USA Today! Be sure to give the interview a read!
