Huntsville's Veterans Day Parade is just around the corner, plus a local business is closing its doors and two upcoming Christmas activities!

Itās Election Day, and I hope all 7,283 7,429 of you have a chance to swing by the polls and cast your vote!
Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only 23 days away? And Christmas is only 50 days away?

šŖ A Broadway-Style Circus Is Coming to Huntsville
Venardos Circus is bringing its A Grand Olā Time Tour to MidCity this month!
The animal-free show is re-inventing the circus experience by combining the traditional elements with a Broadway-style performance.
The show will have exciting performances like acrobatics, trampoline stunts, juggling, and more.
Opening night will be on November 14, with 15 performances through November 24.
This family-friendly show is a great way to introduce your kids to a reimagined circus experience for a new generation.
We will be at opening night, and I hope you will be too! Go ahead and get your tickets now before the show sells out!

š¦ Huntsvilleās Veterans Day Parade
Veteranās Day is this Monday, and Huntsville is celebrating with a big parade!
The parade will start at 11 AM on the corner of Woodsen Street and Holmes Avenue. You can see the parade map here.
It will make its way down Holmes Avenue, Monroe Street, Church Street, and Clinton Avenue and will finish at the opposite end of Woodson Street around 1 PM.
If youād like to celebrate early, there will be a pre-parade show at Veterans Memorial Park at 10 AM with performances by the Huntsville Concert Band.
If youāve never been, the parade is really popular and a lot of fun! Plan to get there early to make sure you get a good spot!
š Taking Flight
āøļø Skating in the Park Is Back for A 12th Season
Mark your calendars because Skating in the Park is back for a 12th year. From November 22 through January 5, head to Big Spring Park for an evening of outdoor skating and holiday fun!
Tickets are $10 for ages nine and under and $15 for ages ten and up.
š§„ Huntsville Parks and Recreation Coat Drive
Huntsville Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Christmas Charities Year Round for its Cozy Care Holiday Drive. Community members are encouraged to donate clean and wearable coats, hats, and gloves at any of Huntsvilleās recreation centers.
All sizes are accepted. The drive is accepting donations now and will continue to accept donations through December 9.

š Holiday on Gates Christmas Market
Join Constitution Hall Park in Downtown Huntsville as it transforms into a charming Christmas Market with unique, handmade gifts from local artisans and makers.
There will also be holiday music and festive food and drinks!
This is a free market that will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 4 to 9 PM. More info about the market can be found here.
ā¤ļø The Bakingtist Closing Its Doors in December
The Bakingtist announced on Instagram earlier this week that it will close its doors for good this December. There are a few more baking classes available through the end of the year, so if youāre looking for a fun date night, this is a great way to support a local business that has faithfully served the community for the last few years!
