🎸 Southern Rock Is Getting The Symphony Treatment

Southern rock is getting the symphony treatment this fall.
Huntsville Symphony Orchestra is bringing Southern Rock: The Symphony Sessions to the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall on September 18.
The concert brings together the music of The Allman Brothers Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Lynyrd Skynyrd with the power of a full orchestra.
With Rick Brantley and Sarah Darling helping bring the songs to life, the show gives these Southern rock classics a fresh, symphonic feel.

👨🚀 Two New Restaurants Headed to Downtown Huntsville
Dining in downtown just got better as two new restaurants are headed to the heart of Huntsville!
Details are scarce, but here is what we know.
A new pizza restaurant from The Mercado Group (The Standard, Del Chuco, The Local, and more) is going into the old Razzo’s Pizza location.
And local couple Harsh and Riya Patel are bringing a new Greek restaurant named Elysium: Greek Cuisine + Cocktails to the old Catch 25 location. It’ll have interactive cocktail classes, elevated small bites, and beautiful Greek-inspired decor!
That’s all that we know for now, but we will keep you posted as we learn more!
🎉 CulturA Festival Returns to The Orion for Its 5th Year
The CulturA Festival is headed back to The Orion Amphitheater for its 5th Year on Sunday, September 20. The festival runs from noon to 7 PM, and admission is free and open to all ages!
The all-day celebration of Hispanic culture and cuisine brings live music and cultural performances. Expect a huge lineup of food trucks representing Latin American countries, a vendor marketplace, a Health & Wellness Village, and panel discussions with local entrepreneurs.
Bring the whole family. Parking is free too. More details here.
🎨 New Andy Warhol Exhibit Is Coming to the Museum of Art This Friday
The Huntsville Museum of Art is set to open its newest exhibit, WARHOL: film, fashion, photography, this Friday, July 31. The exhibit will be up through October 18.
More than 150 works span Warhol's full creative universe. Expect iconic screenprints of Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, and the Campbell's Soup Can. You'll also find Polaroid portraits, 1950s fashion illustrations, and couture pieces by Diane von Furstenberg and Halston.
There's a slate of special events too, kicking off with an Andy Warhol Birthday Party on August 8. Learn more and plan your visit here!
