🚨 Two Grand Openings

Two new restaurants are hosting a grand opening this weekend, plus a fun event in Downtown Huntsville and a new Do-Nut shop!

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone has had a great week! I wanted to take a second to thank everyone who emailed me this week to say kind things about our new web app. If you missed the announcement, you can see it here. Be sure to add it to your home screen!

We are also giving away 4 tickets to Disney on Ice at the VBC on April 10. You’ll see characters from Frozen and Encanto, as well as Disney favorites like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy!

We will announce the winner of the tickets in our Tuesday newsletter. All Premium Explorers will be automatically entered. So if you’d like a chance to win, go ahead and upgrade. Plus, it’s a great way to support Huntsville Explorer!

Alrighty, let’s get to it!

👨‍🚀 Blast Off

🌦 Space and Rocket Center’s Newest Exhibit

The Space and Rocket Center has a new exhibit called How We Know the Weather. If the name didn’t give it away, this fun, hands-on exhibit teaches visitors how scientists predict the weather.

You’ll learn how tools like radar, satellites, and weather balloons help meteorologists know when it will be sunny or when storms are coming. There are 30 interactive displays that show how the Sun and Earth work together to create weather.

The exhibit also highlights Huntsville’s role in weather tracking, highlighting Huntsville’s special radars that help detect storms, especially tornadoes.

This exhibit is great for kids, families, and anyone curious about how weather forecasts work. It’s a fun way to learn how scientists predict the weather we see every day!
