There is a lot happening in Huntsville, so we are trying something new!
Happy Tuesday!
Many of you have probably noticed that the Friday newsletter is getting quite long. There is just too much going on that needs to be covered!
So, over the next couple of weeks, I am going to experiment with sending the free newsletters on Tuesdays and Fridays to help break it up.
Today is my first experiment!
Let’s get to it!

To celebrate the 10th Annual Microwave Dave Day, the event is headed back to where it all began!
On October 13, The Lumberyard will celebrate its grand re-opening by hosting Microwave Dave Day.
The event will feature 50 local artists on three different stages. Food trucks, education vendors, and a fireworks show will conclude the event.

MidCity Announces a New Park
MidCity is set to begin work on a new park between Stax and Sanderson Street and some on-the-street construction within the next two weeks.
The new park will only be a quarter acre and will include a new pavilion and plenty of open space. The concept art shows some tents, suggesting that there might be plans to hold markets in the future.
Along the street, MidCity plans to put in new roadway pavers, additional street parking, lighting, and seating areas.
