🚀 Rocket City Junk Fest
A look ahead at the weekend, plus the John Hunt Park sand volleyball courts are getting a major upgrade and Toyota Field is up for the best minor league ballpark!

Happy Tuesday!
March is officially here, which means spring is just around the corner… and it can’t come soon enough!
I’ll keep things brief today, but I’ve got a few quick notes:
Be on the lookout for our Summer Camp guide in Friday’s newsletter. There are over 25 camps listed!
If you missed our March Event Calendar, you can find it here. You’ll have to be a Premium Explorer to see it, though.
Also, I have one quick favor to ask. We are looking for a dentist to recommend to our readers. If you have a dentist that you just love, could you fill out this one-question form and let me know? It’ll take 5 seconds.
Alrighty, let’s get to it!

⚾ Vote For Toyota Field
Toyota Field — home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas — is getting some well-deserved national attention! It’s currently ranked 4th on USA Today’s Best Minor League Ballpark list, but we can help push it to the top.
The stadium’s atmosphere, architecture, and amenities make it one of the best in the country. Fan votes decide the final ranking, so let’s show our love for this local gem! Vote once per day until March 17. The winners will be announced on March 26.

🏐 Big Changes Coming to John Hunt Park’s Volleyball Courts
Exciting news! John Hunt Park’s sand volleyball courts are getting a huge $2.5 million upgrade.
Pearce Construction Co. will build a second-floor viewing area so fans can get a better look at the games. It will have two staircases and a special lift for wheelchair access.
The courts will also get new seating, a bigger space for tournament organizers, and a snack stand. Plus, better sound and electrical systems will make events even more awesome!
Construction starts this spring and should be finished by Fall 2026.
