🇺🇸 Huntsville Salutes America’s 250th

Huntsville is launching a yearlong celebration for America’s 250th birthday. The “Huntsville Salutes America’s 250th” initiative brings together local leaders, historians, and educators to honor the nation’s founding and highlight Huntsville’s role in the American story.

Over the next 12 months, residents can expect historical exhibits, educational events, and community celebrations leading up to July 4, 2026.

Event details will be announced soon, and we’ll keep you posted!

🚀 Strong Signals Confidence in Space Command’s Huntsville HQ

During a recent visit to Huntsville, Congressman Dale Strong expressed full confidence that the long-disputed U.S. Space Command headquarters will ultimately land at Redstone Arsenal.

While no official announcement has been made, Strong cited recent conversations with national leaders as the basis for his certainty. If his prediction proves correct, it could mark a giant leap for Huntsville’s growth, reinforcing its reputation as a hub for aerospace and defense.

The potential move has been debated for years, with the site selection bouncing between administrations. However, it seems that the debate might finally be settled.

🎶 Tangled String Festival Relocates to John Hunt Park

The Tangled String Music & Arts Festival just got a major upgrade. In partnership with the Huntsville Music Office, the beloved local festival will relocate to John Hunt Park for its October 3–4 return.

This move will offer more space, amenities, and an even bigger celebration of music, art, and community. Organizers promise the same signature mix of stellar live music and immersive arts and crafts, but now with even more room to explore, dance, and discover.

Headliners include indie rockers and folk figureheads like Deer Tick and Neal Francis. You can see the full list of artists here.
