Tomorrow is September 11 and the Trash Pandas are hosting a few events, plus a new bookstore and a free fall festival!
Happy Friday!
The weather the last couple of days has been absolutely amazing! I hope you’ll find time to enjoy it one more time before the rain moves in later this week.
Before we get into the newsletter, I’ve got a quick favor to ask.
I want to make Huntsville Explorer the best it can be, filled with content that you want to read. So please take a second to let me know what new sections/topics you’d like to see covered in the newsletter.
Alrighty, let’s get to it!

Inside her free Get More Press community, she will teach you how to:
Get your event covered by local media

Follow-up without being annoying
And so much more
Oh, and she is also offering a free 30-minute discovery call to all the members of her community.
I am a member and have gone through her lessons, and they are amazing! I hope I’ll see you inside.

The Rocket City Trash Pandas Are Remembering 9/11 With Two Community Events
Wednesday will mark 23 years since September 11, 2001. These attacks killed almost 3,000 people and injured thousands more. However, the casualties could have been much worse if it weren’t for the brave men and women who risked their lives to help clear out the towers before they collapsed.
To honor the memory of everyone who died that day, the Trash Pandas are hosting two community events: a Memorial Stair Climb and a Heroes Run.
The Memorial Stair Climb will take place on Wednesday, September 11 at 8 AM at Toyota Field. Everyone is welcome to climb the stadium stairs to mimic the climbing of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
If you can’t climb, you’re welcome to attend as a supporter. There will also be a coffee cart on site for everyone to enjoy.
The Heroes Run will take place on Sunday, September 15, at 9 AM. To participate, you must register online.
There is a registration fee for the run, but all proceeds will go to the Travis Manion Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders, and service members.

The Midway Carnival will have plenty of games, food, and rides. There will also be a Festhalle Tent with polka, marches, waltzes, and more.
And don’t worry—there will be an SEC Sports Pavillion with five big-screen TVs, so you don’t miss any of the action.
📚 Snail On the Wall Bookstore Is Opening Later This Month
Huntsivlle’s newest bookstore, Snail On the Wall, has announced that it will be opening on September 20.
To celebrate, they’ll be throwing a 2-day grand opening party with lots of exciting activities, giveaways, freebies, and more! Be sure to stop by and say hi!
