🎨 Panoply 2025 Announced

Huntsville’s biggest arts celebration is returning to Big Spring Park April 25-27! The Panoply Arts Festival will host over 100 visual artists and live music from local bands.

Enjoy interactive activities and community art projects with the whole family! There will also be an Art Marketplace showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces from both returning artists and over 40 new faces.

Day passes are $15, and weekend passes are $20. Kids 12 and under will get in free. Tickets are available here.

🌞 Madison’s New 40-Acre Park Is Open

Madison city leaders held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for its newest green space, Sunshine Oak Park. Located on Mose Chapel Road, this 40-acre space features a playground, three pavilions, full restrooms, and over 70 parking spots.

Outdoor lovers can enjoy an 18-hole championship disc golf course. The park also offers direct access to the Bradford Creek Greenway. 

Mayor Paul Finley called it “a rare opportunity to preserve green space for recreation.” City officials hope the park will bring the community together with more outdoor fun in Madison.

🍖 Jim ‘N Nick’s Coming to Jones Valley

Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ is opening a new location in Jones Valley at 2001 Cecil Ashburn Drive (the old CVS). The 4,432-square-foot restaurant will feature a patio and a drive-thru for easy pick-up, according to Rocket City Connect.

Famous for its slow-smoked barbecue and legendary cheese biscuits, Jim ‘N Nick’s sticks to a “no freezers, no shortcuts” approach. The restaurant also gives back by supporting local schools, veterans, and health-focused nonprofits.

An opening date has not been announced yet, but you can check out the menu here.

🎂 Bite Me Cupcakery Grand Opening

Bite Me Cupcakery, a new gourmet bakery, is officially opening at Bridge Street Town Centre on March 28. The shop promises creative, "Instagram-worthy" cupcakes and specialty drinks in a vibrant atmosphere.

Doors will open at 9 AM, and the first 100 guests will get a free "Iconic Cupcake"! Five lucky winners will receive a Golden Ticket throughout the day, which can be redeemed for 12 free cupcakes every month for a year!
