The airport is getting a new parking deck, plus a local CEO spends 24 hours outside in the cold and a local business hosts a big warehouse sale!

I am excited to announce that we are giving away two tickets to the Athens Main Street Chocholate Walk on February 8.

š Huntsville Airport Plans Parking Deck Expansion
Huntsville International Airport is adding a new parking deck next to the old one. The new deck will have 1,300 to 1,400 spaces.
On Wednesday, the board approved using bonds to finance the new deck. Huntsville International CEO Butch Roberts said the new deck will help travelers park close to the terminal, making it easy to get inside and stay out of the weather.
The design is expected to be ready this summer, and construction should start by the end of 2025. This project will make parking easier and improve the airport for everyone.

ā¤ļø Local CEO Spends 24 Hours Outdoors
Keith Overholt is the CEO of Downtown Rescue Mission. This Wednesday, he spent 24 hours outside to show the struggles of homeless people. He braved freezing temperatures as low as 15 degrees.
Overholt shared Bryant Youngās story with WAFF, a man who beat addiction after getting help at the mission. This project is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness, and they hope to have over 100 missions participating next year.
šļø Trash Pandaās Cash Can Contest
Kids aged 3 to 12 can now submit designs for the Rocket City Trash Pandas 2025 Cash Can! The winning design will be displayed at Toyota Field all season.
The top 10 finalists will be revealed on February 28, and the winner will be announced on March 7. The grand prize includes Opening Night tickets, a ceremonial first pitch, and more!
