š§ Break a Sweat at the Sweat Shack
A new kind of wellness experience is heating up in Madisonāliterally. The Sweat Shack, a boutique wellness studio rooted in authentic Finnish sauna tradition and modern cold immersion, is opening soon.
Originally founded in California, the self-care destination is bringing its unique blend of hot and cold treatments to North Alabama.
You can expect all kinds of treatments, including aromatherapy, chromotherapy (color light therapy), and guided cold plunges led by trained wellness experts. Still no word on an exact opening date, but we will keep you posted!
š©ļø Alabama Aviation Tag Takes Flight
A new specialty license plate celebrating Alabamaās aviation legacy is in the works, and itās all the brainchild of a local airport director.
The āAlabama is Aviationā tag is designed to support scholarships and programs for Alabamaās next generation of pilots and aviation workers. The idea came from the top leadership at Pryor Field Airport in Limestone County.
All proceeds from the plate will help fund scholarships across the state. But it wonāt work without your help. The state needs 1,000 people to pre-commit to getting the plate before they can greenlight it.
You can do that through the stateās MyDMV System, and it will cost $50.
