🍼 Huntsville Hospital Marks 100 Years of Babies

Mayor Tommy Battle presented a proclamation recognizing Huntsville Hospital for 100 years of delivering babies.

The hospital welcomed its first baby (a child named Buddy Miller) on June 11, 1926, and has delivered over 350,000 babies in the century since.

CEO Tracey Doughty and Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children's Elizabeth Sanders accepted the proclamation. Robinson noted that all five of her children were born at Huntsville Hospital.

⚽ Merrimack Soccer Fields Getting an Overhaul

The council approved a construction services contract with Game Day Athletic Surfaces to renovate Merrimack Soccer Fields 1 and 2.
