It’s hard to believe that summer has come and gone, and kids are back in school! I hope everyone had a great first full week!

Check Out Huntsville’s First Drone Show

Earlier this week, Huntsville made history by having its very first drone show!
The show was put on at the recent Concerts in the Park to celebrate Intuitive’s 25th anniversary.
The show was initially scheduled for early June but had to be postponed at the last minute.
It turned out to be pretty cool, so here’s to hoping Huntsville will do more things like it!

Chris O’Neal Named Head Coach of Huntsville City FC
Huntsville City FC has announced its third head coach this season. O’Neal previously coached the Inter Miami U-17 team and played soccer at UAB for three seasons between 2001 and 2003. Welcome to the Rocket City, Coach!
Huntsville’s Restaurant Week Kicks Off This Friday!
Restaurant Week is officially underway! This is a great chance to celebrate our local bakers and chefs, and there are tons of deals going on at your favorite restaurants throughout the city!
Huntsville Animal Servies Announces New ‘Elect to Adopt’ Campaign
Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle helped kick off the new campaign earlier this week. The goal is to get the community to adopt some dogs to make room for new pets. To help, HAS is waiving adoption fees on most adult pets!
Upcoming Fundraiser to Support Detective Mosely
Valhalla Funeral Home is hosting a fundraiser for Detective Mosely, who was seriously injured while working traffic control on I-565 in July. There will be pop up vendors throughout the day and Bingo from 4-6 PM!
