I don’t know about you, but the last few weeks have flown by. I cannot wait for summer to come and for things to slow down.

One of North Alabama’s most awe-inspiring traditions is set to return Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-24) as the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic takes over Decatur.

With free admission and parking, the family-friendly festival offers a full weekend of hot air balloons, which will fill the skies during scheduled morning and evening flights.

Between flights, there will be plenty of entertainment, including fireworks, live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, and even auto and tractor shows. If you want to start planning ahead, you can see the full schedule here.

If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, The Providence Bar is hosting a one-night-only Cinco De Mayo takeover tonight starting at 7 PM.

Organizers are bringing an award winning culinary team to cater everything, all while a live DJ keeps the good vibes going all night long.

Guests can expect everything from birria tacos to creative mezcal drinks, plus a playful Bad Bunny impersonation contest and free swag for the first 20 attendees.

Huntsville Yoga Week returns May 11-17, offering a full lineup of free classes across the city!

Hosted by Light On Yoga Fitness, the weeklong series brings instructors and participants together at popular locations like The Orion Amphitheater, U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and Huntsville Museum of Art.
