🥩 The Chop House Opens Its First Alabama Location in Town Madison
The Chop House has officially opened its doors in Town Madison, bringing its first Alabama location to the rapidly growing development right beside BJ’s Wholesale Club.
The Tennessee-based steakhouse, sister concept to Huntsville's Connors Steak & Seafood, serves up hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and classic American steakhouse fare.

⚽ USA vs. Paraguay Watch Party Coming to Downtown Huntsville
Holmes Avenue is closing for a free watch party on Friday, June 12 as the U.S. Men's National Team kicks off the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Paraguay.
Expect a giant outdoor screen, giveaways all night, and prizes ranging from FIFA tickets to a LEGO World Cup Trophy set. Pre-game festivities starts at 6 PM, kickoff at 8 PM.
Grab your lawn chairs and USA gear and head to 125 Holmes Avenue. Free and open to all!
🎆 Huntsville’s July 4th Celebration Goes Big for America’s 250th
This year’s July 4 celebration is shaping up to be one of the biggest Huntsville has ever thrown. Big Spring Park will host a full-day America's 250th celebration, packed with patriotic festivities for every age.
Kicking off at 4 PM with a vendor market, food trucks, and historical reenactments, the day rolls into the American Eras Parade at 5 PM, live music from Groove and Jazz McKenzie's 10-piece band at 6 PM, and a 25-minute fireworks finale at 9 PM.
If you can’t make it, the parade will also be broadcast live on WHNT19!

🎨 A New Creative Studio Opens This Thursday in Jones Valley
Hot Spot Studios is opening THIS WEEK in South Huntsville!
Located in the Jones Valley Target plaza, the store’s grand opening weekend kicks off Thursday, June 11 with a ribbon-cutting at 12 PM. The celebration continues all weekend with snacks, giveaways, and plenty of hands-on fun.
Guests can paint pottery, make candles, create mosaic boards, body scrubs, canvas paintings, slime, succulent gardens, and more.
