🛼 Huntsville Opens Skating Rink at Stoner Park

Skaters rejoice, the new roller rink at Stoner Park is officially open!

The city invested over $2 million to transform the former tennis courts into a massive roller rink under an open-air pavilion. The project also includes new restrooms and easy access to nearby amenities, making it a perfect spot for all ages.

City leaders say the idea came directly from the community, which asked for more fun, family-friendly spaces to enjoy. Stop by 3723 Bragg St NW in North Huntsville to check it out!

🎉 World’s Largest Bounce Park Returns to Toyota Field

The world’s biggest bounce park is making its return to the Rocket City this month! Starting September 26, you'll be able to bounce your way around the grounds of Toyota Field!

Spanning 25,000 square feet, the massive inflatable playground features 10 interconnected jumping zones, offering endless fun for kids and plenty of photo ops for the whole family. Designed with a “kids-first, fun-for-all” approach, the park is just as exciting for adults who want to join in on the action.

Beyond the excitement, Funbox is committed to giving back and will be supporting a local charity, which will be announced soon. If you’re planning to go, you can save a couple of bucks by purchasing tickets online ahead of time.

🎄 Christmas Parade Theme Announced

The community has voted, and this year's Christmas Parade will carry the theme “A Very Merry Christmas,” chosen by more than 500 community votes.

The theme aims to highlight joy, family, and tradition, setting the tone for a festive night downtown. The parade is set for December 2 at 2 PM. Families can come early for the Pre-Parade Party with free food, holiday activities, and photos with Santa.

Registration for floats and performances is open through October 17, but spots are limited.
