🎶 PorchFest Takes Over Five Points Again This May
One of Huntsville’s most unique neighborhood celebrations is making its return as PorchFest will once again take over the Five Points area on May 2.
Centered along Pratt Avenue, this free community event transforms front porches into live music stages, creating a walkable festival filled with local bands and plenty of dancing.
All proceeds from the event go toward supporting Huntsville’s music scene!
🛶 North Alabama Canoe & Kayak Season Opens May 1
North Alabama Canoe & Kayak (NACK) is officially reopening for the season on May 1!
If you’ve been itching to float down the Flint River, they offer a laid-back adventure perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers. With kayaks and canoes available, it’s an easy, close-to-home getaway for anyone looking to unwind, explore, and enjoy a classic North Alabama outdoor experience.
So pack your cooler, grab your sunscreen, and get ready to hit the water!
🥎 SEC Softball Tournament Coming to Toyota Field
A real home run for the greater Rocket City area, conference leaders just announced that Toyota Field will be the new home of the SEC Softball Tournament for the next 4 years!
Starting in 2027, this is the first time in over two decades the tournament will be played at a neutral site.
City official told Fox 54 that they expect the tournament to deliver a significant economic boost to Town Madison and the nearby developments!
