Happy Tuesday!
I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather this week!
We’ve got a lot to cover today, so I’ll keep it brief!
Let’s get to it!

🚀 Taking Flight
👟 New Walking Tour Brings Huntsville’s History to Life
The Historic Huntsville Foundation has launched Cornerstones of Freedom, a free, self-guided digital walking tour highlighting the lives and contributions of Black men and women who helped shape Huntsville after the Civil War.
The self-guided tour features 10 stops around the courthouse square and begins at Harrison Brothers Hardware on Southside Square. Just pull up the Cornerstones of Freedom website to start. No app needed.
The walk takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
🌷 Tulip Festival 2026 Tickets Now on Presale
Presale tickets are now available for Hubert Family Farm’s 2026 Tulip Festival in nearby New Market.
Each spring, the family-owned farm blooms with more than 250,000 tulips, inviting visitors to stroll colorful fields, take photos, and pick fresh flowers. While you’re there, enjoy live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, photo ops, the Tulip Trolley, and even hot air balloon rides!
Presale tickets currently 20% off, making them less than $10. They can be used any day during the season, expected to open in early to mid-March.
🎉 Save the Date For Downtown Huntsville’s Mardi Gras Parade
The Mardi Gras Parade returns to Downtown Huntsville on February 14, with festivities starting at 1 PM as the Huntsville Drumline builds the energy ahead of the 2:30 PM parade.
Find a spot along Meridian, Spragins, Holmes, Washington, Eustis, or Greene Street and join families, friends, and locals for an afternoon of beads, music, and celebration.
Whether you’re there for the parade or just a lively day downtown, it’s a great way to soak up the festive spirit.
