Big news for local music fans... Rocket City Records is bringing a brand-new event to The Orion on Sunday, June 22.
The Rocket City Records Jam Session will be a laid-back afternoon filled with live music, creativity, and community.
You can catch performances by Og Pressure, Powed Raje, and the SHO-NUFF Band. If you are a musician, bring your instrument and join in when the vibe feels right.
The event also features spoken word artists, dancers, and plenty of good food. Tickets are on sale now, and kids 12 and under get in free.

š Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic
Mark your calendars for the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic on May 24 and 25 (Memorial Day Weekend) at Point Mallard Park in Decatur.
This two-day event is filled with hot air balloons, live entertainment, and family fun! And the best part? Itās FREE!
Catch morning flight competitions and evening balloon glows, explore the arts and crafts market, or check out the classic car and antique tractor shows. Tethered balloon rides are free and available on-site (first come, first serve).
If youāre new to the area, this is one of the most popular events in North Alabama. You wonāt want to miss it!
š½ One Eleven Bar and Kitchen Opening Soon
Downtown Huntsville is getting a stylish new restaurant this summer: One Eleven Bar and Kitchen.
Located in the historic Heritage Club space, the restaurant will serve creative American dishes with global flair. Guests can look forward to live music, two private dining rooms, and a layout designed for both intimate dinners and lively nights out.
As founder Kumar Patel puts it, āThis is our love letter to Huntsville.ā

805 After Five returns to Butler Green Park at Campus 805 with a free outdoor concert every third Thursday from May to October. This yearās lineup features local and national acts like Lamont Landers, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Eddie 9V, and Bully.
Lamont Landers will be kicking things off on May 15. All the dates and lineups are available here.
