❤️ 5 Charities to Support on Giving Tuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday. It’s always the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is a great opportunity to support charities in the Huntsville community.
There are lots of great non-profits in Huntsville, but here are five that we felt deserved a shout-out this year:
Kid’s to Love: Offers scholarships, job training, and gift programs to foster children.
Community of Hope: Provides housing to underserved populations in Madison County.
305 8th Street: Offers essential resources to disabled adults.
Still Serving Veterans: Assists military veterans by providing job support resources.
Rose of Sharon: Serves hot meals and provides outreach services to those in need.
Huntsville Explorer will be donating $100 to one of these worthy organizations, and we hope you will consider donating too!

🤣 Kevin Hart Coming to The Orion in 2025
Comedy superstar Kevin Hart is set to bring his latest stand-up special, Acting My Age, to The Orion Amphitheater on Friday, April 11, 2025. Fans can expect an evening filled with Hart's signature humor and relatable storytelling.

🚌 Huntsville Transit Offering Free Rides
Huntsville Transit will honor Rosa Parks Day by offering free rides on all fixed bus routes on Monday, December 2.
On December 1, 1995, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus. Her brave action started the Montgomery Bus Boycott, which became a big part of the Civil Rights Movement.
“Rosa Parks’ bravery changed our nation forever,” said Mayor Tommy Battle. A special seat on each bus will display her name, thanks to Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. This is the seventh year Huntsville Transit has celebrated Rosa Parks Day.
