If you’ve been looking for a good slice of pizza, Valentina's Pizzeria & Wine Bar just landed at No. 12 on 50 Top Pizza USA's 2026 rankings.
If this sounds familiar, it’s because its the third year in a row they’ve cracked the country's elite pizza list.
Valentina's also picked up a spot on the guide's Best Dessert List 2026, sharing the rankings with names from New York, Chicago, LA, and Miami.

🚧 Garden Cove is Coming Back To Life
Got an idea for what Huntsville needs more of? Landco wants to hear it. The developer is asking the community to help shape Garden Cove, a long-overlooked corner of Meridian Street Alley they're bringing back to life.
Should it be another Umbrella Alley? A Lantern Alley? A Garden Alley? Something completely different?

☕ Summer Drink Specials Just Dropped at Two Local Coffee Shops
Two of our favorite coffee shops just dropped their summer drink menu and we had to share!
Angel’s Island is serving up two coffee drinks: Golden Hour Blonde and Summer S’mores Latte. If coffee isn’t your thing, they’ve also got a drink called Nectar of Fiji! Here’s what’s in each drink.
Honest Coffee (Huntsville and Madison locations) will be serving up a Strawberry Shortcake, Coconut Matcha, Blueberry Muffin Latte, and a Banana Split Nitro. A portion of the drink sales will be donated to local non-profits as well! Here’s more on each drink.
I’ve got the Golden Hour Blonde and the Blueberry Muffin Latte on my list!

🎊 Celebrate the Army’s 251st Birthday With Free Fireworks, Food, and Family Fun
Celebrate the Army’s 251st Birthday with a FREE community celebration on June 6 at Redstone Gateway!
Hosted by Redstone MWR, this family-friendly event is open to the public and takes place right outside Gate 9 on Research Park Blvd, so no Redstone Arsenal pass is required.
From 4-9 PM, enjoy a Vendor & Kidpreneur Market, Army static displays, food trucks, live music, a kids play area, free cookie cake & ice cream, and a 15-minute fireworks finale to close out the night!
Bring the whole family to celebrate the Army and kick off summer with an evening of family fun on June 6!
