Happy Friday!

Last week I asked you what our next event should be, and the winner was… a murder mystery dinner!

I’ve already been working on the details and and will have more info soon! In the meantime…

Let’s get to it!

👨‍🚀 Blast Off

🚀 Ditto Landing Event Center On Track For Fall Opening

Construction continues to move steadily on the new event center at Ditto Landing, with officials saying the highly anticipated project remains on pace for a fall opening.

Crews are transforming the former State Docks warehouse along the Tennessee River into a modern, multi-use venue designed to expand entertainment and event options across Huntsville.

Once complete, the facility will feature a restaurant along with a large indoor event space capable of hosting everything from banquets to concerts. Plans also include an outdoor courtyard for live music, food trucks, and community gatherings, all set against a scenic waterfront backdrop.

The development will tie into existing amenities like the marina, greenway trails, and camping areas, while also offering boat access for visitors arriving by water!

While you wait, here are a few pictures of the design mockup!

TOGETHER WITH HUNTSVILLE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

🪕 Not Your Typical Night at the Symphony

On April 11, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra welcomes banjo duo Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn to the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall.

This one-of-a-kind performance blends bluegrass, folk, and classical music, pairing banjo and vocals with a full orchestra. Their program Dreams in Flight features a mix of traditional songs, original pieces, and new compositions inspired by Appalachian roots.

It’s not every day you hear a banjo backed by a full orchestra.

Now’s a good time to grab tickets while the best seats are still available.
