Blast Off
A New Way to Explore Downtown Huntsville
Downtown Huntsville Inc. has announced a new way for people to explore Downtown and earn a free prize: The Downtown Decathlon.
Simply get a Decathlon card and complete the ten different activities by visiting local stores and attending events.
Once the card is complete, you can turn it in for a free Downtown Huntsville t-shirt.
Here’s a full list of the activities that you must complete:
Visit Harrison Brothers Hardware
Attend an event hosted by DHI
Stop by the Huntsville/Madison County Visitors Center
Attend trivia night at a downtown business
Eat at a downtown restaurant
Make a purchase at a downtown retailer
Visit an establishment on the Craft Coffee Trail
Visit an establishment on the Craft Beer Trail
Take a class at a downtown fitness studio
Visit an establishment on the Craft Cocktail Trail
The Downtown Decathlon will be running through September 30!
Taking Flight
New Stoner Park Skating Rink Breaks Ground
The new skating rink at Stoner Park is officially underway, after a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this week. The $2.3 million project will build an 85×185 foot rink that’s housed in a 19,000-square-foot open-air pavilion. The city expects the rink to be open by summer 2025.
Everleigh Elaine Grand Opening Is This Saturday
Everleigh Elaine is a new baby and children’s boutique located off Governors Drive. It’s celebrating its grand opening this Saturday. The first 50 customers will receive swag bags (a $200 value), and there will be tons of discounts to celebrate!
A New Huntsville Word Game
Earlier this week, we launched a new Huntsville word game called Huntsville Explorer Wordville! It’s basically Wordle but Huntsville-themed! We are looking for a local business that would be interested in sponsoring the game. If that’s you, reply to this email for more info!
