A cool museum is set to open in Huntsville on March 1, plus a new Mexican restaurant is open and a Skybrige update.

What a crazy week, I can’t believe we got some more snow! It’s been fun, but now I’m ready for some warm weather!

đź“° SIGNALS Museum Opens March 1

Huntsville’s newest museum, SIGNALS, opens its doors on March 1 at 1806 University Drive NW at 10 AM. This unique museum celebrates the evolution of communication technology from past to present.
At the museum, you'll be able to:
Explore Diverse Exhibits: Delve into antique artifacts like HAM radios and telegraphs, alongside modern VR simulations and satellites.
Engage with Interactive Stations: Experience hands-on exhibits for all ages, including a fully operational AM radio station.
Gain Educational Insights: Discover Huntsville's contributions to space-age communication and learn about the pioneers behind major technological advancements.
Admission is $12, with free entry for children under five. SIGNALS offers a unique opportunity for families, students, and tech enthusiasts to explore the transformative ways we communicate.

🌮 Huntsville’s Del Taco Is Now Open
The wait is over Huntsville, Del Taco is finally open! The new Tex-Mex restaurant serves tacos, burritos, burgers, fries, and more daily, starting at 10 AM.
Since the 1960s, Del Taco has been a West Coast favorite, known for its fresh ingredients and late-night cravings. This location (7003 Cabela Dr) marks Del Taco’s third in Alabama, following spots in Opelika and Phenix City.

🌆 Skybridge Over Memorial Parkway Set for 2027
A 1,300-foot pedestrian Skybridge will soon connect Lowe Mill to Downtown Huntsville. The design features a 12-foot-wide path for walkers and cyclists, offering a safe, scenic route over Memorial Parkway.
Construction is set to begin later this year, but the bridge likely won’t be complete until mid-to-late 2027. The Skybridge is part of the $65 million Pinhook Creek project, which includes adding greenways, park spaces, and improving bridges.
đź’Ş New Phaze 3 Fitness Open!
The new Phaze 3 Fitness in Jones Valley (1319 Four Mile Post Rd) is finally open! It features the latest exercise equipment, a saltwater lap pool, and personal trainers who can help members reach their goals.
After a workout, members can relax with cryotherapy and hydromassage chairs or grab a smoothie to refuel. Whether you’re just starting out or love fitness, this gym has something for everyone.
If you’re interested in joining, membership starts at $25/month.
🎨 NEACA Spring Craft Show
Mark your calendars for the NEACA Spring 2025 Craft Show. From March 14 to 16, you’ll be able to shop for handmade crafts from over 100 vendors at the VBC! There will be something for everyone, including jewelry, pottery, home decor, clothing, and more!
Admission to the show is free, and the NEACA donates proceeds to local scholarship programs. More details about the event can be found here.
