🧑‍🚀 Blast Off

🎭 Fantasy Playhouse Purchases Merrimack Hall

Fantasy Playhouse began raising funds for a new home in 2019 and had initially planned to build a new theatre on the corner of Holmes Avenue and Triana Boulevard.

Then COVID happened, and after everything settled, the project cost had risen by 300%, and they began exploring alternative options.

After a long search, Fantasy Playhouse has announced that the historic Merrimack Hall will be its new home.

With plenty of money set aside and an additional $2 million from the city of Huntsville, Fantasy Playhouse has grand visions for its new theatre.

The 24,534 square foot facility offers a fully functioning, accessible 300-seat theatre and has tons of renovation opportunities to add various classroom spaces with plenty of renovation opportunities.

Renovations are expected to start as soon as this month and aim to be complete in Spring 2025.
