🌳 A New Greenway
The City Council has approved a new greenway, a new place to get donuts, and a popular community event returns!
Happy Tuesday!
Well, I’m excited to announce that our baby boy was born on Friday! We just got home with him yesterday, so please forgive any typos!
Also, I’ll be announcing the winner of our $120 gift card giveaway on Friday, so be sure to donate if you’d like a chance to win. The winner will get a $50 gift card to Snail on the Wall Bookstore, a $50 gift card to Field Day, and a $20 gift card to Super Chix!
We are close to $2,000 raised, and the fundraiser is almost over! Every $10 = 1 entry. Here’s the link to donate.
Let’s get to it!

🚀 Taking Flight
🍽️ One Table Huntsville Returns to Big Spring
One Table Huntsville returns to Big Spring Park next month, and you’re invited! On November 24, the community is invited to gather at a massive table for a free lunch!
The goal of the event is to surround you with neighbors you have probably never met. In addition to great food, you can also expect live music and activities for the kids!
There’s no cost, no dress code, and no agenda. It’s just a chance to sit down, break bread, and remind ourselves what makes Huntsville so special.
🍩 Shipley Do-Nuts Opens Today
Shipley Do-Nuts is officially open, ready to serve the Rocket City at 1010 North Memorial Parkway!
The Texas favorite, famous for its hot, fresh donuts and savory kolaches, is bringing nearly a century of Southern sweetness to Memorial Parkway. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast on the go or treating yourself to an afternoon pick-me-up, you’ll find something to love from their lineup of classics and creative flavors.
Doors open at the crack of dawn and don't close until 9 PM. So swing by and let us know what you think!
🌳 City Council Approves New Greenway
The City Council has officially approved construction of a new 1.5-mile greenway, connecting Green Cove Road/Buxton Road to Hobbs Road/Redstone Road.
This will complete the final link in a 15-mile greenway loop through South Huntsville. Once finished, you’ll be able to bike, walk, or jog seamlessly through several of the city’s prettiest neighborhoods!
