🚢 A Little Piece of History
The Nina and Pinta are coming to Huntsville, plus two new restaurants!
Happy Tuesday!
Monday is out of the way, and it’s time to kick the week off with a dose of Huntsville news!
Oh, and don’t forget that we are giving away a year’s worth of trash can cleaning to one of our Premium Explorers courtesy of Hurricane Bin Cleaning.
Alright, let’s get to it!
THIS EMAIL IS PRESENTED BY THE MANOR ON COUNTY LINE
Let’s Face It: Home Prices Aren’t Going Down Anytime Soon
With interest rates and home prices at an all-time high right now, living in an apartment makes more sense than ever before.
Let me tell you about The Manor, a luxury apartment complex off County Line Road.
It has a great location near I-565 and is perfect for people working at Amazon, Buffalo Rock, or Mazda-Toyota.
Even better, they’re running a BIG discount right now. If you move in before the end of September, you will receive up to $1,000 off three months’ rent!
The Manor has a limited number of move-in-ready apartments available, so if you think you might be interested, go ahead and check out the floor plans and submit an application to secure the discount!

The Niña and Pinta Replicas Are Docking At Ditto Landing This Friday
Replicas of the Niña and Pinta are sailing into Ditto Landing on Friday, August 23. They will be docked at the marina through September 8 and are open for self-guided tours!
No reservations are required, but you will need to buy a ticket. It’ll be $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (60+), $8 for students and military. No ticket is required for children under the age of 4.
For those who need a quick refresher, the Niña and Pinta were two of the three ships that Christopher Columbus sailed on during his first transatlantic voyage in 1492.
These ships are close to an exact replica of what Christopher Columbus sailed and would make for a great educational field trip for your family!

New Ramen and Boba Restaurants Are Coming to Huntsville
Kyuramen and TBaar are coming to Huntsville off University Drive near Trader Joe’s. This dual-branded restaurant serves high-end ramen and Taiwan-sourced boba!
Kyuramen started in Illinois and serves a soup base with fresh Japanese-style pork roast, a 7-minute boiled egg, and a pair of chopped green onions.
TBaar originated in Brooklyn and sources its ingredients directly from Taiwan!
An opening date has not been announced yet.
Alabama and Memphis Will Play In This Year’s Rocket City Classic
The Rocket City Classic is like Christmas morning for college basketball fans in Huntsville, and this year’s matchup won’t disappoint. The Alabama Crimson Tide will head to the VBC on October 28 to face off against the Memphis Tigers.
Alabama is coming off its first Final Four trip in program history, and Memphis always has a strong and scrappy team led by NBA legend Penny Hardaway.
Huntsville Transit Is Offering Free Rides This Sunday
The new Transit Center on Pratt Avenue will open on September 3, and the City of Huntsville is giving free rides this Sunday to help train drivers on the new routes.
Even better, the city will give free rides for the whole month of September to celebrate the facility’s opening and help residents get familiar with the updated routes.
