šŸ’° A $44.6 Million Expansion

A major expansion breaks ground, Huntsville City FC secures its first-ever playoff spot, and a new bagel shop is coming to town!

Happy Tuesday!

Thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraiser for the American Heart Association last week!

The first giveaway winner will be announced this Friday and will get a $100 gift card to Char!

There’s still time to enter, and every $10 donation = 1 entry in the giveaway. I’ve got over $750 in prizes to give away through the fundraiser, so the earlier you enter, the better chance you have to win something!

Let’s get to it!

ā›øļø Ice Sports Center Expansion Breaks Ground

City leaders have literally broken the ice, kicking off a $44.6 million expansion at the Huntsville Ice Sports Center!

The project will more than double the facility’s size, adding a brand-new arena, a second ice sheet with five curling lanes, upgraded locker rooms, plus expanded concessions and hangout areas! By late 2026, you’ll have more room for hockey games, curling matches, and public skate sessions.

Whether you’re a lifelong skater or just curious to try something new, this expansion means more opportunities for you and your family to make memories on the ice!

🄯 Jeff’s Bagel Run Is Coming to Town

The Rocket City is about to get a true taste of New York as Jeff’s Bagel Run announces two new locations in Huntsville and Madison!

The bagel shop will serve up hand-crafted, always-boiled bagels. Ask any New Yorker, and they’ll tell you, a boiled bagel is the only way to go.

Jeff’s Bagel Run has earned a loyal following across the country for its authentic flavors and community-focused vibe. Along with specialty coffees, you’ll find classic and vegan spreads to suit every taste.

The Huntsville store will be opening on Airport Road in the TJ Maxx Plaza, and the Madison location will open on County Line Road, just south of Kroger.
