🌱 Community Seed Swap

Join fellow gardeners for a free seed swap and get ready for the upcoming planting season! Enjoy snacks and drinks while you connect with others on Friday, February 14th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity (208 Eustis Ave). Celebrate Valentine's Day with tea, finger sandwiches, and mini desserts at Constitution Park (109 Gates Ave SE). There will be two seating times, 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM, on Friday, February 14th. Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve a seat in advance. Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for kids under 12. Reserve a seat.

🍻 9th Annual Von Brewski Beer Festival

Enjoy an afternoon of craft beers, live music, and food vendors at the annual craft beer festival, held at Von Braun Center South Hall (700 Monroe St) on Saturday, February 15th, from 1 PM to 5 PM. Admission is $55 online, $65 at the door, and VIP upgrades start at $100. Must be 21+ to attend. Get tickets.

🎉 Mardi Gras Ball

Experience a night of dancing, music, and Mardi Gras festivities at The Roundhouse (398 Monroe St NW) on Saturday, February 15th, from 8 PM to midnight. Formal attire is required, and attendees must be 21+. Admission starts at $100 per person or $1,000 per table. Get tickets.

🌮 Del Taco To Open Later This Month

The wait is almost over—Huntsville’s newest Del Taco is opening on February 20th!

Three years after franchisee Sam Abusaleem announced the project, the restaurant at 7010 Cabela Drive will officially open its doors next Thursday at 10 AM. Get ready to enjoy Del Taco’s famous tacos, fries, and more! The menu can be found here.

🏫 New Madison Elementary School Gets Its Name

Madison’s new school in Limestone County finally has a name—Russell Branch Elementary!

The name, inspired by a nearby stream, was chosen from community suggestions. Keeping with the nature theme, the mascot will be The Owls.

Superintendent Dr. Ed Nichols announced that the school is set to open in 2026 and is located at 200 Madison Branch Boulevard.

🐟️ Chuck’s Fish Opens in Madison

Chuck’s Fish is now open in Madison, serving up fresh Gulf seafood and award-winning sushi crafted by Chef Yoshie Eddings. Not in the mood for seafood? They've got you covered with pizza, steaks, and salads.

Located at 461 John Henry Way, the newly built restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere, a bar, a patio, and even a secret sushi menu. Dinner service starts daily at 4 p.m. The menu is available here.

🎪 Rocket City Fair Returns in March

The Rocket City Fair returns to Huntsville from March 20 to 30 at John Hunt Park (2195 Jaycee Way)! Get ready for 10 days of fun with thrilling rides, games, live music, and exciting shows like Hot Dog Pig Racing and Los Moralitos Circus.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for kids 5-11, and free for children under 4. Buy your tickets early online to save before prices increase on February 12. Parking is FREE!

Gates open at 4 PM on weekdays and 1 PM on weekends.
