I hope all 8,613 8,801 of you had a merry Christmas! It’s hard to believe that 2025 is just a few days away.

As we close out 2024, I want to thank everyone in the Huntsville Explorer community. It’s hard to believe that we started this in April and are closing in on 10,000 subscribers nine months later. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for us!

🎶 The Live 5ive New Year’s Eve Extravaganza

🤖 New Exhibit Opens at Space and Rocket Center

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center just opened a new exhibit called Discovering Mars: Robot Explorers. It features life-sized models of robots that explored Mars!

These include the Sojourner, Curiosity, and Mars Exploration rovers. You’ll also see the InSight Mars Lander and the Ingenuity helicopter.

Interactive panels show what these amazing machines did on the Red Planet. Be sure to check it out next time you’re there!

🍑 Peach Cobbler Factory Now Open in Madison

Madison just got a whole lot sweeter! A new Peach Cobbler Factory opened its doors on December 21. It's located at 300 Hughes Road in the Publix shopping complex.

This dessert lover’s paradise offers dine-in, takeout, delivery, catering, and event services. It is known for its cobblers, banana puddings, cinnamon rolls, and other Southern treats.

It’s a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

🥂 Beignets and Brew Expands to Madison

Beignets and Brew is opening a new location at 12120 County Line Rd., Suite C, right in front of Publix.

This New Orleans-inspired shop will serve its signature beignets, coffee, and smoothies. They’ll also feature a Mimosa Bar, Bloody Marys, and other tasty drinks.

This will be the second location in North Alabama. A Huntsville store opened in May, and the new Madison location is set to open in January.
